Visitors Already?

In 3 days Craig will be flying in and the next day we pull out to Missouri. Haven't seen him since I was in my early 20s yet fate seems to have brought us to this journey together. He's checked out of the grind in Wyoming and bought a piece of property in Missouri. I've had enough of life in Va and am joining him on his journey of the simple life. We'll see how long I last. So this is the beginning of what I hope to be a great story of hard work, growth and deep pleasure of the natural side of life. Today he sent me these pictures of visitors to the property. I'm excited to meet them all :) I told Craig that I am surprised to see these creatures there. He mentioned that they also have armadillos. Apparently they've traveled with some truckers in from Texas. Interesting.

Lake Dammit

Well, we don't necessarily want to be livin' off This ground. While I've been back in Va working away to save enough money to come join him, Craig's been enduring all kinds of challenges. This was one of them. He had a beautiful site picked out for the cabin, but didn't anticipate the Unbelievable amount of rain to come. Venturing out to look at the property, he decided that "Lake Dammit" may Not be the best place to build. LOL. He found a much better place to set the cabin, Instead of The Houseboat.
